Throughout the years, I've shared my life with rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals - both large and small, inverts, and fish - I draw the line at insects and other bugs though, they're just not for me. ;) As always, my home is a bit of a zoo. This life isn't for everyone, but it's what I live for. My animal family means everything to me. It is because of this that I've dedicated myself to educating the public on proper pet care. The more we know, the better able we are to provide the very best for our animal companions. I am constantly researching different species, the newest animal technologies, and learning about the latest trends in pet care, husbandry, and training methods. If you have a question, chances are I have an answer - and if not? I'll find someone who does and learn right along with you. I've been involved with animals for over 20 years, and have played a variety of roles during that time. I've been a groomer, a foster mom, a rescuer, a handler, a transport provider, a breeder, an Assistance Dog trainer, and I'm sure there's something I've missed. I can't imagine my life without being constantly surrounded by animals. They give us so much, it's only fair that we try to give back a portion of the love, dedication, and forgiveness they show us... This is why I write.
