TD's blue and white hooded rat, Merry, after Tolkiens Lord of the Rings TD's one month old black rex rat with a white tipped tail, named Samwise after Tolkiens The Lord of the Rings trilogy

Most of my artwork is available at artbytd.com.

It is important to me that my pieces are full of joy, and inspire others to a level of happiness. It is rare that I will create when I am feeling at my worst. I do not want my work to share my pain. My work is not a social commentary on disability or animal rights. It is a celebration of my blessings.

I mainly work in acrylic or conte crayon. I prefer to use conte for my pet portrait work, and acrylic for my figure studies. However, I'm also experienced with Chinese ink, pastels, charcoal, chalk, and felt tip.

For a limited time I will be accepting commissions. You are welcome to suggest a colour scheme, and the subject. I also welcome your input on size and style. However, I reserve the right to change or adapt your choices as I see fit. It is best that you look through my galleries prior to contacting me, and pick a few of your favorite pieces. This will give me a better idea on what you prefer, and will help me create a piece with you in mind.
